Tailor-made Costa Rica holidays

It is a small country, but we all know good things come in small packages. Costa Rica is easy to navigate around and with so many different
micro-climates each area is very different from the next. Costa Rica has something for every discerning traveller, old and young alike. Enjoy a relaxing, sedentary experience or one packed with adventure and adrenalin, or why not combine the two. The varied landscape offers something
for everyone – be it sandy beaches, mystical rain forests or smouldering volcanoes – it lends itself perfectly to every type of traveller. Costa Rica appeals to travellers on many levels. It’s a haven for nature-lovers and thrill seekers alike. Birders will never be bored with over 800 species to
look for.

The country is just two-thirds the size of Scotland, but astonishingly boasts an estimated 6% of the worlds flora and fauna, with over 25% of the country given over to national parks and reserves – not bad for a small Central American country. Best time to visit Costa Rica

The best time to visit Costa Rica is the dry season: December to late April/May.  Within this time, April to May tend to be less busy than other dry season months. September to October sees the heaviest rains which make travel increasingly tricky as land gets sodden and roads deteriorate.

Costa Rica is home to endangered wildlife, important habitats. We strongly believe in protecting this diversity. Throughout the site, our llama logo, Luis, showcases good practices, and you can read more about our company’s TRAVEL + PROTECT ethos.
