Finca Rosa Blanca

This beautiful, white-washed villa stands on the hillside with sweeping views over the Central Valley, just 30 minutes from San José. An upmarket boutique hotel, set on a working, organic coffee plantation offers guests the chance to stay in the lap of luxury while taking in the local surroundings. Throughout the hotel there are many paintings and artefacts commissioned by the owner and each suite has an individual feel to it, each one striking and unique in its own right. There is a main lounge, bar and restaurant and of course a spa for pampering treatments. Enjoy fine dining at El Tigre Vestido restaurant, where the chef combines Costa Rican and international influences to provide a varied menu each day, using the finest ingredients available. The beautiful gardens are there to be enjoyed along with the outdoor pool. There is plenty to do both on the property and in the vicinity, and you can take it at your own pace. The fascinating tour of the coffee plantation is a must, follow this by relaxing in the verdant gardens, rich with birds and butterflies.

Finca Rosa BlancaWhy go to Finca Rosa Blanca?

Finca Rosa Blanca combines coffee, Costa Rican culture and nature all in one place. The plantation is surrounded by 4 volcanoes, 2 national parks, cascading waterfalls, rivers and cloudforests – what more can you ask for? Renowned for exclusive and in-depth coffee tours of the organic, sustainable coffee farm, guests can enjoy learning how to discern the nuances of coffee at a private ‘cupping’ after the tour. A certified guide is available to take guests on bird watching walks in the gardens and coffee farm as well as to the national parks, cloud forests, biological rain forest reserves and botanical gardens. Other tours include butterfly farms, canopy tours and white water rafting. You can join in the festivities, taste local food and touch the soul of Costa Rican culture through art and music in the small towns surrounding Finca Rosa Blanca.
